So about me hey?

I am a Perth based, Boxing Coach and Personal Trainer from Dallas, Texas. I moved to Australia when I was 14 and I have been here ever since. I never had an interest in boxing up until about 6 to 7 years ago. God I would of loved to have started sooner… I was introduced to a boxing gym by a friend a few years back, in which of course, I died about 12 times in said first ever class. But I had something click inside me that demanded more.

I began showing up 2 times a week to the gym, boxing and learning. Slowly easing my way into 3 to 4 times a week. Still, all of which classes, I died multiple times in. But I began to love the feeling after a session, and being tested in more ways than just physical.

I used to be the quiet guy in the gym that sat near the corner, no eye contact, nervous and anxious as all hell. I would, believe it or not, pretend to take a phone call at the start of a class, just to leave due to my anxiety and stress of being “seen” or approached.

After a few months of classes, I began asking the right questions, “how do I do this, or that, or why like this, why like that?” I became much more intrigued in the science of it rather than the fitness.

Shortly after these questions began, I started to understand the movements better, the mechanics and the reason behind them all. This is where my love for it all started.

Now fast track to present time, I had gone from the guy who would be too anxious to stay for a class, to now the guy who runs classes, runs PTs and has built a business and career through it all.

My drive is not to make you a better boxer. My drive is to make you a better you. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Learning how to box is going to be the side effect from us working on all the things boxing as given me.
