So, you want to get to know me do you…

Well I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I had never had an interest what so ever in boxing, or fighting, or any specific style of martial arts. I wasn’t brought up on it, nor ever been exposed to it. But I remember my first time in a boxing gym like it was yesterday… I walked in with a combination of fear, excitement, nervousness and anxiousness. From spending far too long trying to learn to wrap my hands for the first time, to sliding on the gloves for the first time, to then thinking I was going to die multiple times during the session.

Boxing for me started off as a fitness journey. A space to practice, to sweat, and struggle, and learn. I never knew at this moment what boxing was really going to offer me. What boxing can offer you.

I have trained in this art form for nearly 7 years now. Everyday wanting to learn more. Practice more. Always wanting to remain a student, and never assumed the roll of just a teacher. And to this day, this sport, this art form, it continues to teach me.

I have been coaching full time as a boxing coach since 2022. I recall the moment when I quit my full-time day job, and took the risk to begin this next chapter and not once, have I looked back. Not once have I regretted this choice.

Why do I coach? Why do I coach boxing?

For me, boxing has gifted me soo many things. Boxing has gifted me my self discipline, my self confidence, my self compassion, self respect, and most of all, self love. How? Through the constant choice of choosing myself every time. Be that showing up. Digging in. Trusting myself. Backing myself. Giving to me when I think I have nothing left to give. Boxing taught me more than just how to fight, or how to defend myself. Boxing taught me how to respect myself, and others.

I want to offer that to my clients also. I want to use boxing as a mirror to show you exactly who you are. Who you can become. That you are, and can be, exactly who you think you might not be. What you have inside. And along that journey, also get you healthy, fit, learn how to fight, and learn how to defend yourself.

”This is about more than just boxing” Allow me to show you.
